I am a higher education professional with over 25 years of experience working on college campuses.  I partner with high school students and help guide them in their college search.  I essentially grew up on college campuses, following my father who was a professor.  As an independent educational consultant, I get to put my experience to good use helping students with their journey through the search process.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Kentucky as a graduate from the Honors Program.  I went to Indiana University in Bloomington where I completed my Master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration.  I earned my Ph.D. in Educational Policy Studies and Evaluation at UK.

I have worked at Saint Louis University, Spalding University, Transylvania University, Eastern Kentucky University, and now, the University of Kentucky.  I have worked in housing and residence life, student conduct, academic integrity, hazing prevention, leadership development programs, crisis response teams, Greek Life, intramurals, merit scholarship selection committees, admissions recruiting, and a variety of student affairs responsibilities.  

I even announced basketball games at Transylvania for nine seasons for the men’s and women’s teams. I bring a unique and valuable perspective to the college educational planning field due to my varied experience and passion for working with students.
